LUES will have a bake sale and pajama day on Tuesday, February 17. Students may pay $2 to wear their pajamas to school, and a variety of baked goods and drinks will be sold for purchase; prices will vary depending on kinds. Proceeds will benefit office staff and school nurse supplies for student's needs. Thank you for your support! #shine

National Read Aloud Day was Wednesday, February 4th. Reading aloud builds strong readers and sparks imagination.

Mrs. Brantley’s third graders are serving up strong opinions! Students are learning about opinion writing by debating a classic question: hamburgers or pizza? They’re sharing reasons, using evidence, and having a little fun while building powerful writing skills!
