Today in 5th grade, we didn’t just learn figurative language… we wore it. It was officially Idiom Day, and let me tell you, these students understood the assignment. From head to toe (literally), creativity was on full display! We had students who were “dressed to the nines”.

⚖️👩‍⚖️ Order in the Court! 👩‍⚖️⚖️ Court was officially in session in Judge Amy Payne’s classroom today, where the case of The People vs. Artificial Intelligence was brought before a very thoughtful jury. Students stepped up as attorneys, passionately presenting their opinion writing and arguing whether AI is a trusted friend or a dangerous foe. Witnesses were called to the stand in the form of strong evidence, facts were examined, and claims were cross-examined with precision and purpose. The courtroom buzzed with persuasive arguments, critical thinking, and confident speaking as each side made its case. In this court, every opinion required proof beyond a reasonable doubt! Verdict? Learning wins. Every. Single. Time. 🏛️📚
