Our Toombs County community tailgate will be this Friday, Aug 23 (4:30-6:30pm) in downtown Lyons. We invite you to come shop and eat local. Various teams and groups will host 'meet and greets' along with booths for you to visit. The cheerleaders will be getting our spirits high, and you can even have some time on the mat with the wrestling team. The Redcoat Drumline will back it all up and there will be face painting, cotton candy, boiled peanuts and much more! We will line the downtown streets at 6:15 PM to cheer on the TCHS Football Team as they do their "Dog Walk!” Don't miss it!

DATE: August 19, 2024 Hello LUES Family, Congratulations to your student on completing the first iReady Diagnostic for the 2024-2025 school year! As I’ve mentioned before, the Diagnostic is an important tool we use to understand your student better and where we can offer the best support. You can also talk to your student about the work they just completed and learn more about their progress. Here are some questions you can use to spark a discussion: · What was it like to take the Diagnostic? What did you do during the test to make sure you did your best? · Tell me about some of the reflections you’ve made from your data. What are you proud of? What do you need to work on? · What goals did you set based on this Diagnostic? · How can I help support your goals? Thank you again for your continued partnership and support in your student’s learning. Best, Rhonda Stone Principal LUES

Atentamente, Rhonda Stone Principal LUES
