This week in Career Discovery, our students are putting their problem-solving and planning skills to the test with a hands-on Thanksgiving budgeting challenge! With a reduced budget and a focus on cooking at least three dishes from scratch, students are learning how to balance financial decisions, research recipes, and create a delicious menu for their immediate families. By learning financial literacy skills like budgeting now, students are preparing for a successful future where they can confidently manage money, make informed choices, and prioritize their needs. These essential life skills will help them navigate real-world situations, from planning meals to managing personal finances as adults. We’re so proud of their creativity and practical learning this week!
