We're all in this together!

Ben Swearingen placed 1st place in the AGC Heavy Equipment Skills Challenge on Wednesday, November the 13th, in Statesboro. Fourteen total competitors from schools across Georgia competed in this competition. The competitors had to dig a 12-foot trench that was 18 inches deep. They had to maintain grade and then refill it after grade was verified by the competition inspectors. The competitiors used a mini excavator to dig the trench and all work had to be completed within the allotted time frame
This is the third year in a row that TCHS has won first place at this competition. Congratulations to Ben for a job well done and to his teacher, Mr. Brodnax.
